The Voices of Our Nations Arts (VONA) Foundation's Summer Writing Workshop has been, for thirteen years, nurturing developing writers of color, escorting many on part of their journey toward publication. Held at the University of California Berkeley, participants come from around the globe to work with renowned authors of color, who lead weeklong creative writing workshops.
